Can you pass under general anesthesia if you are over 70?

I am a 71 year old male. I want to know can you pass under general anesthesia if you are over 70?

When you say “pass”, do you mean qualify? Answer is yes depending on the number of co-morbidities one has.

Age is not a consideration.  Your general health is what is important.
We put 90 & 100 yr olds under general anesthesia!
There is no contraindication to general anesthesia due to age. An elderly patient's comorbitities and tolerance to medicines are considered to taylor the anesthetic to your needs. However, patient in the upper age bracket are more predisposed to a period of cognitive disfunction, such as confusion or disorientation.
Risks are inherent with anything you do out of the norm. In general, the risks with general anesthesia are less than driving a car on the highway. It all depends on your general health condition.
Death is a risk of anesthesia no matter what age, but is very low chance of occurring.
