I will have a CT scan with dye. Does CT scan dye hurt?

CT dye goes into the vein. There are no nerve endings on the inside of our vessels, so this should not be painful.
No, it should not cause pain. Some patients feel different sensations from the contrast, like warmth during injection of the contrast.
