Hello! Unfortunately I dont practice in your area, but there are two highly regarded medical centers: Duke University and UNC very close that have excellent neurosurgeons. I would suggest calling their office to schedule an appointment and making sure you bring all your recent imaging studies on a disc. Hope this helps! Best well, Aleka Scoco, MD

I don't know anybody in that region but you are relatively close to Durham and Chapel Hill. Both UNC Chapel Hill and Duke are excellent centers to obtain opinions about your back and can provide the breadth of care that you may need.
I am sorry to hear about your condition. It sounds like there are some complex issues occuring here. I recommend you call Duke Medical Center, who has a world-class Neurosurgery department. Good luck to you.
