Thank you for your question. The very short answer is no. Aspirin in low doses does not affect your level of awareness or thought processes. However, and there is always a however, aspirin is used to blunt the body systems that make blood clot. This means, in addition to protecting you from an abnormal blood clot, it can predispose to bleeding. I suggest a visit with your physician to review other sources of fatigue and drowsiness as well as a check of her blood counts.
