“How do I stay calm during an MRI?”
I am a 39 year old female. I will have an MRI scan next week. I want to know how do I stay calm during an MRI?

Ask for a valium, we give them out like candy. You will need a driver. You can come in with your own premedication...alcohol...just don't say anything and act normal.
Ask for a sedative, we give out aprazolam for free, but then you would need a driver. You can self medicate if you want. "Booze"... we don't care as long as you cooperate and hold still. You can also try to find a 1.2T open MRI.
