Can a root canal be re-done if the pain persists?

I had a root canal 10 days ago. It still hurts. Can a root canal be re-done if the pain persists?

Yes absolutely if the pain persists
Yes absolutely please return to your dentist if you are in pain. If you did not see a root canal specialist than you should. Root canal means the nerve is gone meaning no pain
Yes it can be, but usually the tooth is just sore from being worked on. It can last for weeks up to a month and still be normal. There should be no pain with cold or heat however. Best of luck, Dr Sondra Avant
Yes. Nonsurgical retreatment can be performed.
Yes but long-term prognosis isn’t as good.
