How long do new dentures take to settle?

I got my dentures 4 days ago. How long do new dentures take to settle?

There is a transition period for dentures . Usually a couple of weeks . Expect sore spots and sometimes
Slight inflammation . Please see your dentist as needed for these adjustments and make sure that dentures are not in the mouth when sleeping at night and that they are cleaned regularly. Hope that helps .

Dentures are very technique sensitive. Fit depends on your arch size, ridge size and firmness, lips, and tongue movements. ALL of these determine how long it takes to seat and feel good to wear. The skill of the dentist at taking quality impression and the lab is a BIG factor.
A quality Dentist takes good-quality impressions. That type of dentist should know how to rectify issues that can occur with denture delivery. The clinics are not always the best choice for these difficult cases. Choose your dentist wisely.
If the new dentures are hurting your gums in one or few areas, you should go and have your dentist adjust them. You might need a few adjustments for a while.  Otherwise, it takes a few weeks to get used to them.
Dentures will need to get adjusted by your Doctor 2-4 times until they become feeling comfortable, pressure areas and bites might need to be relieved. Overall, dentures are not comfortable and implants should be considered down the line.
If the dentures were made prior to extractions of the teeth then the healing phase is around 6 months. Relining is require during this healing phase; otherwise ‘settling’ in could be weeks as adjustments to the dentures solve the troubles
