Urologist Questions Urologist

How to treat urinary urgency?

For over two and a half years, I've been experiencing urinary urgency. I've been to a urologist and a gyno-urologist. I had both a sonogram and a cystoscopy. There are no infections in the bladder and all tests came back normal. However, the symptoms continue. I've had absolutely no relief and the doctor keeps giving me bladder relaxants, specifically myrbetriq. This does not help at all. I've asked to run more tests and they keep telling me it is overactive bladder and no cause for concern. I'm at my wit's end with this and I am not sure what to do from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There are many other causes, best if you can find a doctor that has time to listen and explore other causes. Such as ....Constipation can be a reason for urinary urgency. Trauma to spine and brain, severe back pain affecting urinary nerves, emotional stress, need for bladder training, too much water or caffeine intake, other medications you are taking, diabetes, adrenal or pituitary hormone imbalances.....
