Get to know Pediatric Dentist Dr. Misee Harris, who serves patients in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Dr. Harris is a pediatric dentist who specializes in the growth and development of children, which allows her to provide high-quality dental treatments that will leave kiddos smiling. She is the owner & operator of Children’s Dental Clinic of Jonesboro in Arkansas.

Some of the services that she offers at her practice include: endodontics, orthodontics, general dentistry, cosmetic & restorative dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics, and hygiene. Her areas of focus include special needs dentistry for children, oral sedation dentistry, dental trauma, and sports dentistry. 

One of the top experts in the dental field, Dr. Harris graduated with her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2011. She was the first African American female to be accepted into a residency in pediatric dentistry at the same educational venue, earning her certificate in 2013. 

Currently holding state licenses in California, Arkansas & Arizona, she remains an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association. 

Always seeking to improve the practice of dentistry, Dr. Harris created a patented mouth guard called ProFit Athletic Mouthguards, which encourages kids to wear the proper protection when engaging in sports with its fun, trendy designs. Knowing the importance of a properly fitting mouth guard in sports, she created ProFit Athletic Mouthguards to fit more comfortably in the mouth yet protect more effectively than the standard mouthguard. 

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood.

A well known media personality, Dr. Harris is a Huffington Post contributor, a YouTube Vlogger, and a Beauty Blogger. Her mission is to speak out on the positive and productive depiction of Black women in the media and to communicate that anything is achievable regardless of skin color, gender or social status. 

In recognition of her contribution to the community to make it a better place to live, she was honored with the Gr8 Acts of Kindness Award in November of 2018.
