Dr. Avi Donitza

Prosthodontist

Born in Israel, Dr. Avi Donitza obtained his B.Sc degree in 1982 and his DMD
degree in 1985 from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served 5 years
as a dentist in the lsraeli army, providing prosthetic treatment to army
personal and their families. Following his army service, Dr. Donitza
maintained a private practice in Haifa, lsrael, and held a position as a clinical
instructor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at the Hebrew
University in Jerusalem.
ln 1993 Dr. Donitza joined the Department of Prosthodontics 
and the Center for Esthetic Dentistry at UCLA, and completed
two years of education in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. At the
same time, he took the necessary exams in preparation for the California
State-Board Dental-Exam. He received his California dental license in June
1995.
Dr. Donitza pursued further education at UCLA with a three-year residency
in Advanced Prosthodontics and received his Prosthodontics certificate in
1999. He then completed an additional one-year residency and received his
Maxillo-Facial Prosthodontics certificate in June 2001.
Dr. Donitza maintains his practice in Beverly Hills since he joined Oral Construx in 2002.
In addition, he also colaborates with medical teams in the treatment of radiation patients and the
prosthetic rehabilitation of cancer patients. Dr. Donitza is a past
president of the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry. He is an active member
of several professional organizations including the American College of
Prosthodontists, The Academy of Osseointegration and The lnternational
College of Prosthodontics. When he is not tending to his patients, you can
find him painting at his studio or spending time with his family and their dog(s).
