No, do not use bleach or hair dyes during pregnancy.
Yes, even though there are technically toxic chemicals in hair dye, the amount is very low in normal hair coloring processes and dyes. Overall most OBs deem it safe. If you want to be conservative, wait until your 2nd trimester, which you are already in!
