Can I eat fast food after a heart stent?

I got a heart stent 3 weeks ago. Can I eat fast food after a heart stent?

You can without any risk of acute injury. However, it is important to realize that coronary artery disease is due to combination of genetic make-up as well as environmental risk factors. Fast food is generally laden with salt, cholesterol, and processed sugar. Having fast food as a treat or once in a blue moon is fine, but making it a meaningful part of your diet will increase the risk of recurrent coronary disease
Most fast foods contain a lot of fat and are high in cholesterol. The stents were placed in the areas of the heart's vessels which were blocked from cholesterol buildup. Therefore, limit fast food intake to about one to two servings per week. A newly placed stent will trap a great deal of the cholesterol within the blood
