Can you get the COVID vaccine with heart arrhythmia?

I have heart arrhythmia and want to get a COVID vaccine. Can you get the COVID vaccine with heart arrhythmia?

1 Answer

Yes.
People with heart disease benefit greatly from the COVID vaccine in less severe COVID symptoms, lower need for hospital admissions and lower mortality. The myocarditis which can RARELY occur after the mRNA vaccines is more common in young male> female adults without any known heart disease, is not well understood but is very mild and usually resolves on its own after a few days of rest and anti- inflammatory medications.
