OB-GYN (Obstetrician-Gynecologist) Questions OB-GYN

ā€œCould she get pregnant even if we don't have sex?ā€

Hi, I need help to clarify things I'm worried about now. I need help. About 2 months ago my partner and I had sex. I did not penetrate her just rubbing and within an hour we immediately initiate a morning-after pill. She still got her monthly period. Do I need to worry if by any means that sperms are still in her body and can impregnate her even if we don't have sex anymore?

Hello and thank you for your question.

Taking the morning after pill likely lowered the chances that your partner became pregnant, but no contraception is 100% effective. If you are concerned about pregnancy, I would recommend taking a pregnancy test.
Don't worry. She took precautions with the morning after pill. Besides, she had her period. It's doubtful that she is pregnant. However, you are correct. Close contact without ejaculation could allow for emission of sperm. Be careful in the future.
You mentioned she got her period. You should be ok. If irregular bleeding resumes I would recommend getting a pregnancy test to be sure. Pregnancy should be unlikely
Yes
If she has had her period and if you did not have sexual intercourse then she is not pregnant and could not become pregnant unless you had sexual intercourse.
