“Long periods?”
I’ve been on my period for 3 weeks. I’ve been on the depo shot since January. My period completely stopped in April. I got my shot again in April. i had to go to the dr for a UTI but they claimed i never had one ever since the beginning of June I've been on my period. I’m on the depo shot. i don’t know what’s going on. I'd just like an answer i haven’t been able to go to the dr I've been at work nonstop.

Abnormal bleeding can definitely happen on DepoProvera, but it is always advisable to investigate. Usually this is done by ultrasound to measure your uterine lining and checking a pregnancy test. It is difficult to advise a next step until that is done.
