How long after taking paracetamol can you drink alcohol?

It depends on how much paracetamol you took and how much alcohol you intend to drink.
Generally it's not advisable to take paracetamol and drink alcohol in the same day. They both put wear and tear on your liver and that overlaps. That said, paracetamol taken at normal over the counter doses is largely out of your system in the next 8-12 hours, and MODERATE (think 1-2 glasses in a 24 hour period for a male, half that for a female) alcohol consumption is normally fine for an otherwise healthy individual of legal drinking age.
