Previous hernia?

When I was 9 months old I had a hernia. Now I am 17 years old and I would like to go to the gym. I didn't have any problems with it and I am perfectly healthy and I don't use any medications. So my question is can I go to the gym?

Asymptomatic, with no recurrence then you had the desired outcome from the surgery. I am sure that you have done many strenuous activities since 9 months of age. You have no restrictions and can go to the gym.
Activity as tolerated. If you have trouble with it see a surgeon.
It depends if you still have the hernia. Follow up with PCP or Surgeon.
