Sensodyne in kids

For my 4yrs kid I have used sensodyne rapid relief toothpaste. First 20days she was fine. When I used to brush her teeth in night with sensodyne she developed rash on both corners of her lips. The rash is lasting for 1week. Now doctor has prescribed antibiotic for her. The rash hasn't settled down completely but feeling better after I have used antibiotic. Is anything serious

It may be a specific ingredient causing the reaction. I personally can not use most Sensodyne and Colgate toothpastes because it causes skin in my mouth to slough off. Try using a different brand of toothpaste until you find one that doesn't cause the rash. If switching brands doesn't help, see allergist and bring the exact Sensodyne toothpaste with you to appointment.
