6. His total cholesterol level is 223 as of 2018, making his baseline risk for a heart attack at 16%

In 2017, Donald Trump’s total cholesterol level was 169. Since his most recent examination, it’s been reported by his physician that his cholesterol has risen to 223. His level of bad cholesterol, or LDL, has also risen from 94 to 143. According to NIH Medline Plus, both of these levels are considered “borderline high”, which puts him at risk for coronary heart disease or suffering from a heart attack or stroke.

His baseline risk for having a heart attack is approximately 16%. A baseline risk is your risk for a heart attack in the next 10 years, and is calculated with guidelines that were set by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. In 2017, Trump’s baseline risk was 13.9%
