3. He takes Propecia to promote hair growth

It’s not uncommon for men to deal with hair loss at some point in their lives. And, Donald Trump is not exempt from it. When the White House physician came out in January to discuss the President’s current state of health, he stated that Donald Trump is currently taking Propecia to slow down his hair loss.

Propecia is a common medication to slow down the effects of hair loss and male pattern baldness. The medication does this by stopping the patient’s body from transforming testosterone into DFT, which is the hormone linked to hair loss in males.

According to Joshua Zeichner, Director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research in Dermatology in Mount Sinai Hospital, approximately “a third of patients maintain the hair that they have.”
