8. James Stewart
James Stewart (1908-1997) still graces the screen in replays of It’s a Wonderful Life, his many Westerns, and his roles in famous Hitchcock films like Vertigo and Rear Window. Stewart was also in the United States Air Force before he went into acting. Stewart stayed active until Alzheimer’s slowed him down and contributed to his death.
