15. Jack Osbourne

Jack Osbourne, son of eccentric rocker Ozzy Osbourne, is clean and sober after overcoming an addiction to painkillers as a teen. His famous, perhaps infamous, father is notorious for his excessive drug and alcohol abuse. Admirably, Jack chose not to follow in his father’s footsteps when it came to living life as an addict. Jack did have struggles with substance abuse early on; as a teenager, he became addicted to OxyContin, an opioid painkiller. He went to rehab when he was just seventeen, after he realized that he no longer wanted his addiction to painkillers to have control over his life. Before leaving for rehab, he recalls many of the people he was surrounded by were nearly 30 years old, unemployed, completely dependent on their parents, and essentially going nowhere in life due to heroin addiction. He knew he didn’t want to end up like that, and he resolved to make a change. He has been clean and sober ever since.
