Comedian & Black-ish Star Anthony Anderson Says Diabetes is No Joke

Anderson made a complete turn-around with his lifestyle

Anderson was already taking three types of medicines to curb the symptoms of his diabetes. Still, exercise was an extremely important part of maintenance, which is why he started to become more active. After a while, he bought his own treadmill and started adding running to his routine. He then joined a gym and started lifting weights to grow some muscles. He lost a lot of weight because of his extremely active lifestyle and noticed that his blood sugar levels dropped, which made him take less medications.

He was also first introduced to a nutritionist by a friend. The nutritionist suggested a healthier and cleaner diet along with an exercise routine. Since he enjoyed riding bikes, he decided that bike riding would be a part of his exercise regime.
