Frida Kahlo used her paintings to express her pain
Why do historians say Kahlo suffered from fibromyalgia? Many historians and doctors noticed the artist depicting her pain through several point in her body, which could be related to tender points. Fibromyalgia patients suffer from 11 or more points on their body, which can cause them to experience intense pain. This pain causes a serious toll on their physical and mental health.
