Hoffman is now raising money to help researchers find a cure
Hoffman always had a deep understanding of the power of kindness and knows what it means to give to others. From planning and hosting a charity golf tournament with a close friend to funding enough money to send computers to a school in Nepal, he is now working to raise money to help people like him with muscular dystrophy. His goal is to build a wellness center for other patients so that others are able to access the same resources that he has during his battle with his disease.
Hoffman has taken a holistic approach to treating his disease. He hopes that his recent lifestyle change and focus on health and well-being will delay any progress that the disease may have. He has revamped his diet by eliminating dairy, gluten, and soda. He eats well, works hard and collaborates with doctors who are researching medications and stem cell research in the hopes of finding a cure.
