Hoffman not only plans to share his story, he plans to inspire others
As a naturally introverted person, coming out with his battle with the disease was not a natural thing for him to do. In fact, Hoffman keeps his private life and his charity work very private. He even shys away from social media. However, after his diagnosis, he spent hours researching everything he could about muscular dystrophy and he recognized that by sharing his personal story and battle he could help people, especially children.
