She says that even when they found a capable doctor, they were referred to another. She discussed how when they went to a doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles who administered a chemo treatment every four to six weeks. All was going well until the doctor sent notice that he moving to San Francisco and wasn't able to continue with her treatment. Finding a physician who specializes in autoimmune diseases, specifically lupus, is not easy.
