Dr. Wilmut wants to remain active, aiming to walk four or five miles a day.

Dr. Wilmut also said, “I’ve never been a Munro bagger but we live in the Borders and I like to walk. I asked my consultant last week, I recovered my strength would you think it reasonable to aim on walking four or five miles a day, for several days.”

Dr. Wilmut loves to walk, which is good since he lives in an exceedingly hilly and rural part of Scotland that lends itself well to exercise fanatics. Unfortunately, physical activity is becoming more and more difficult since his diagnosis a few months earlier.
