Coffee Cake

Ingredients for Topping

  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1/4 C granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Ingredients for Cake

  • 1/2 C butter, softened
  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 C GF flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  1. Combine all topping ingredients; set aside.
  2. For cake, put butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter and egg mixture; beat until combined.
  4. Pour half the batter into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with half of the topping mixture. Add remaining batter and then topping.
  5. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until done.
