Eggs and dairy products are excellent. But, don't overdo it on the dairy
- Eggs are fantastic for a diabetic diet. They have protein, are easy to digest, and you can cook them in a variety of ways.
- Dairy and cheese are always excellent in your shopping cart, but make sure you are choosing low-fat milk or soymilk (or nut milk), fat-free cottage cheese, and firm tofu. If you are a whole-fat cheese and butter lover, don’t deprive yourself, just use smaller portions.
