Produce (this is the best part of your diabetic grocery cart) should always include bananas, apples, oranges, blueberries, strawberries, sweet potatoes, baby spinach, carrot sticks and broccoli. Colorful fruits and vegetables have the most nutrients and choose locally grown veggies and fruits. These have the best flavors and are usually much less in cost.
