Gin & tonic: 120-150 calories
There's a lot of fine print when it comes to gin and tonic. Since tonic can be loaded with sugar, this is far different than having a gin and soda.
Many bars' standard tonic water has as much as 25 grams of sugar--that's a whole day's worth.
The good news is that there are many brands of tonic that are low in sugar naturally. (By 'naturally', we mean that these tonics don't have anything added or compensated for sugar.)
So, don't order a gin & tonic at the bar. Look for Fever-Tree's Naturally Light Tonic Water. It has the lowest amount of sugar among most tonic waters, and many G&T drinkers prefer the flavor to boot!
