Grains that are Safe
In regard to grains, the safe ones include:
- Nut flours
- Soy flour
- Potato flour
- Gluten-free oats (check the label)
In the event that some slight degree of cross contamination has been involved, the product should have more than 20 ppm. Also, some of these grains and/or their respective flours can only be found in health food or specialty stores. Either way, for any of these items that come pre-packaged, checking the labels for cross contamination would be a prudent precaution.
