Breakfast Recipes for Type 2 Diabetes

Eat breakfast at home as much as possible. This will help avoid a large amount of calories.

Breakfast is also a great way to increase the amount of fiber in our body. So make sure you have a big helping of it every morning before you leave your house.

Here are some other tips for you to keep in mind:

  • Try to stick to eating breakfast at home. A diner-style breakfast with eggs, bacon, and a few pieces of sourdough bread can hold a lot more calories than you think.
  • Include fruit with your cereal. Like strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc.
  • Pair your breakfast with nonfat milk or yogurt.
  • Skip the orange juice, but eat an orange. Orange juice usually has a lot more sugar.
