Change how you think about food
If you’re not a calorie counter, try it. There are great free apps, like SparkPeople and MyFitnessPal, where you can track and access your food intake from your smartphone. If you hate counting calories, then try to sneak them in while you can, by drinking healthy smoothies and milkshakes with extra protein. Don’t forget about adding protein like beef, chicken and eggs and healthy fats like avocados, walnuts, almonds, peanut butter, flaxseed and salmon to your meals.
