Number 3: Stone Fruits, Bananas and Melons
Although there have been studies conducted to determine the effects of fruits to people with diabetes, there are still some questions regarding what specific fruits are considered good or bad for diabetes. Even though fruits are considered as a good source of vitamins, some fruits actually contain a high level of fructose. These include bananas, melons, and stone fruits like nectarines, peaches, plums, apricots, and cherries.
Alternative food: Apples are known to be rich in fiber and less in sugar. So, avoid eating these highly sweet fruits, prefer to have an apple instead.
