He then went on to perform his residency in neurology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, followed by the The J. Kiffin Penry Epilepsy MiniFellowship in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Throughout his prestigious career, Dr. Matus has received many awards and accolades, including America’s Top Physician (2011 & 2012), the Patients’ Choice Award (2012), and Best of Texoma Neurologist (2014).
