It can lead to diaphoresis(excessive sweating), dizziness, confusion, lightheaded, weakness and in some cases altered mental status or even loss of consciousness. If you’re diabetic on meds, they should be adjusted by your physician to prevent future risk of this. In studies, hypoglycemia has been linked to higher mortality.
