There really aren't any restrictions as far as diet. You just want to make sure that all the anesthesia has worn off before you eat as to avoid damaging soft tissue.

It all depends on genetics,

Yes, during the day you can rinse with them for fresh breath, however, that’s not a substitute to remove them daily/ nightly to clean the dentures and your gums thoroughly.
