I am inclined to think that the effect of the mold, if any, is more related to the mild nasal congestion. The pattern of the headache sounds more like tension headache, and is more likely either primarily from tension in the upper back and neck or other stress tension. That being said, mild tensions may predispose you to having headaches related to nasal congestion from an airborne irritant such as mold spores.
