Dr. Shailaja S. Behara graduated from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India, earning her medical degree. From there, she completed her internal medicine residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. She then went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago. In addition to her clinical role at her practice, Dr. Behara is on staff at Houston Northwest Medical Center, Memorial Hermann at Northeast, Memorial Hermann at The Woodlands, St. Luke’s Community Hospital at The Woodlands, and Kingwood Hospital.
