Hi,

Dry mouth can be caused by a number of things... most likely it can be a side effect of your current medication particularly if you are on high blood pressure, anti-anxiety, antidepressant medicine, et al. There are over 500 drugs that can cause dry mouth, plus also drinking too much coffee or alcohol products can also contribute to dry mouth/burning sensation. We usually recommend drinking lots of water, sucking on sugar-free lozenges, and using dry mouth products like Biotene over-the-counter.
I hope you feel better soon.

I typically use a little nitrous oxide conscious sedation with some topical and a little local anesthetic at the tooth site and then can do the baby tooth extraction quite easily if the patient is uncooperative sometimes the patient has to be put to sleep under general anesthetic and then the bad tooth removed, but that is quite more expensive than I charge $50 for nitrous oxide. Great question.
Good luck.

A dental bridge prevents the other two adjacent teeth from drifting and closing the space. Also, it gives you better chewing capabilities so you don't have posterior bite collapse. It prevents the opposing arch tooth from super erupting/ extruding! I have a 3-unit fixed bridge in my mouth for over 35 years, so it is durable and it's a little bit less expensive than a dental implant!
Good luck!

Hi,

Perhaps you have a cavity or slight gum recession. Did you get X-rayed recently? Try Sensodyne toothpaste, too.
