EXPERT
Dr. Elizabeth M. Palkovacs, MD
Ophthalmologist
After completion of her medical training, I joined a small group practice in Southern California. In 2016, she had the pleasure of joining Kaiser Permanente and migrated to the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area.
She is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Additionally, she has participated in Oculoplastics clinical audit at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. She is proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology, whose mission is the education and certification of ophthalmic personnel. She has presented clinical research at both the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, as well as the World Ophthalmology Congress in Berlin. Additionally, she serves on the editorial board of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s ONE network.
Dr. Palkovacs’s practice philosophy puts patients first. She believes that community is an important part of an interconnected society, and that includes professional stewardship and service. Excellence in patient care is paramount, and Dr. Palkovacs is pleased to offer her services through the Northern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group.
