Dr. Manganaro became Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1999. Dr. Manganaro then went into private practice as an Internist for fifteen years. During that time, he conducted training in holistic medical techniques which he progressively incorporated into his practice. The impetus to do this was his belief that more could be done for his patients and a desire to help people on emotional/mental/spiritual levels besides the physical level. He feels that approaching a person who is not at ease (a person in dis-ease) at all of these levels will bring about a more complete and longer lasting result. This special training was in addition to conferences in allopathic medicine in order to keep current within his specialty.

Though too many to list here one major category are those that support normal NO (nitric oxide) levels which diminish as we age. NO helps with arterial dilation. In this category would look into Neo40 or Citrinox which are sold through alternate health practitioners offices.
Another category would include the supplement Mg (magnesium) taurate.

JRA (& other autoimmune arthropathies) can be triggered or worsened by food allergies & infections of nearly any type. In addition some infections (such as Lyme & parvovirus) can mimic arthritis.
You may want to put her on an anti-inflammatory diet & also see an alternative practitioner besides her pediatrician & rheumatologist.
