Dr. Jose Fernandez, MD

Dr. Jose Fernandez practices Adult Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology in Hattiesburg, MS. Dr. Fernandez studies, evaluates, diagnoses, and treats conditions that affect the nervous system. Neurologists are trained to fully understand and treat such conditions as Stroke, Headaches, Epilepsy, Alzheimers disease and Parkinsons disease. Clinical Neurophysiologists perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as Electroencephalograms, Nerve Conduction Testing, Electromyography, and Evoked Potentials. Dr. Fernandez also is Board Certifed in Autonomic Disorders and is the Director of The Autonomic Laboratory at Hattiesburg Clinic, where he oversees the evaluation of the Parasympathetic, Sympathetic and Sudomotor branches of the Autonomic Nervous System. He is Co-Director of the Hattiesburg Clinic Epilepsy Center. He has been in practice at Hattiesburg Clinic since 2001. He is conversant in English, Tagalog(Filipino), French and Spanish.
