Hi there,

Usually, we don't recommend brushing the area where the bone graft was placed for at least 24 hours, so that you don't disturb the graft. After 24 hours, you can apply (Cholorohexidine Gluconate) mouth wash (Prescription) on a Q tip and apply it on the area to keep it clean twice/day. Then you could start to clean the adjacent teeth with a soft brush to ensure there is no plaque accumulation since that can delay the healing.
Hope that helps.

A new partial denture would normally hurt since the soft tissues and the tongue aren't adapted on it yet. You could even get some sores in the soft tissues after using it from a tight area or if the bite needs some adjustments. I would recommend to contact your dentist regarding this. Also, if the partial is made of resin, always keep it soaked in water.
Hope that helps.
