Dr. Warkala’s interest in podiatry grew out of running track and cross country in high school and college. He went on to complete a Residency in Podiatric Surgery at Lakeview Hospital in Wisconsin.

In November 1987, Dr. Warkala went into private practice in Washington Township, NJ. He continues to be active in the community that he works in as a member of the Rotary Club. He also stays involved in the medical community, serving as President of the New Jersey Podiatric Society from 2002-2003 and holding a number of other positions within the society, currently in charge of Continuing Education. In addition, the doctor holds staff privileges at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals, and has been the Extern Director there for a number of years.
