Orthodontist
I was originally born in Vancouver, British Columbia and obtained my dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. I then completed a two-year residency in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was class president. I recently moved into the Huntingdon Valley area with my fiancee, Cindy.
I have practiced orthodontics since 2003 and have taught orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Orthodontics for multiple years. I am trained in providing exceptional care with clear and metal braces, and invisible braces with Invisalign®.I am board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
I have received multiple honors, graduating as the Clinician of the Year from my graduating class at the University of Pennsylvania. I also received the Louis Wolf Award for graduating in the top 3 of my class, the Hersch Pharmacology Award, and the Hinman Research Scholar Award. I have been been inducted into the Mathew Cryer and Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Societies. I have received multiple research awards and published multiple articles on bone and cancer research. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling and am an avid tennis fan.
