Certain patients need to be treated in a sitting position to eliminate such undesirable side effects or the practitioner needs to decrease the duration of the therapy. Short treatment will always prevent such side effects on very sensitive patients. Some patients don't eat all day so I always recommend eating a snack before therapy so the blood sugar is normal.
