I normally recommend continuing your prenatal vitamins during breast feeding

The pill usually works in this regard decreasing the flow & cramps. There are some other meds than can be helpful also depending on the situation

When I see patients back for a 4 week check after delivery they almost never bring it up or have any complaints. It should be better in just a few weeks If not extensive

The pill often helps if you qualify healthwise. If you have finished your family, a procedure like ablation (Novasure)

For heavy menses , uterine ablation can work well of not more children are wanted.

If that was your case was your real period then pregnancy is less likely. Do a test of you need reassurance. The morning after contraception is usually done a little earlier.

If no semen involved, you should be ok. It may be hard to tell if there is fluid involved & direct contact

Kidney stones can also cause bleeding from the bladder. Usually would have back or flank pain if kidney stones

It could be depending on your ovulation, generally regular menses. It would generally be 4weeks & 6 days before that time. Usually the sonogram can get you close.
